Papers of the Philadelphia families Bloomfield, Coates, Cresson, Emlen, Gumbes, Horner, Howel, Lloyd, Macomb, Moore, Vaux and Wetherill families from the 19th and 20th centuries. Some of these families were Quaker, including Coates, Emlen and Vaux; others had some Quaker family members, including Cresson, other families, including Gumbes and Wetherill, did not remain Quaker.
Howard L. Haines autograph and composition books
Howard Haines’s autograph book contains five categories: Faculty, Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshman. Each entry includes basic information on members of these categories, except in the case of the faculty, which was left almost entirely blank. His composition book contains several essays concerning animals, historical and contemporary figures, national histories, and notes on several scientific and mathematical subjects.

An avid photographer, the materials in this collection are primarily photographic, as well as correspondence and documents.

The Anna Lau Familiar Places photographs contains 22 prints as well as a printed title page, table of contents, and artist statement from the "Familiar Places" photography portfolio created by Haverford student Anna Lau in 1995. All photographs are of the Haverford College campus, except for one of McCabe Library at Swarthmore College.
