Biographical / Historical

Haverford College's Chess Club began in 2005, and was restarted in 2019 by two Haverford members of the Class of 2022. The intended purpose of this student-run group is to encourage chess play, regardless of skill level or previous experience, instead choosing to highlight building community. The club meets once or twice a week, typically in the basement of Haverford's Dining Center.
