Collections of still photographic types, including paper prints, cased photographs, glass plates, and slides. Historically, when processing a collection, FHL staff have often removed the photographs from the manuscript portion (e.g. RG4 organizational records or RG5 family or personal papers) and stored them as an associated PA photographs collection. FHL staff have also assembled alphabetical files by topic, such as the Meetinghouse Picture File.

This is a collection of copies of artwork relating to Quakers (by or about). In some cases, the originals are held by Swarthmore and copies were used to fulfill reproduction requests in the era before digital scans were possible; more often, the originals are not held at Swarthmore.
