Overview Helen Griffith was a member of Bryn Mawr’s class of 1905. After graduation, she taught English at Mount Holyoke, Bennett, and Tougaloo Colleges. In 1966, she published a biography of Sarah Dickey titled “Dauntless in Mississippi: The Life of Sarah A. Dickey.” Griffith died in 1976. The Helen Griffith papers houses Griffith’s college diary and scrapbook.
